The God Awareness Program

St. Augustine’s traditional CCD program better known as G.A.P. is directed by Liz Miller. This program meets the needs of students, grades pre-kindergarten through High School. The program meets the requirements of the Office of Religious Education and Evangelization of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

The classes are held during the school calendar September through May. Classes begin immediately following 8:15 a.m. Mass and end at 10:30 a.m. The children are immersed in catholic doctrine along with choir and community activities. The teachers set the example that all the children follow as they begin their faith journey at St. Augustine.
The Parish provides moral and monetary support so that the needs of every student are met. There is no charge for anyone young or old to attend their catholic studies at St. Augustine.  St. Augustine Parish prides itself that they gather students from many different schools and social backgrounds to one place for the formation of their faith studies in the Catholic Apostolic Church. Anyone is welcome to visit, volunteer, aid or teach in the classroom at any given time. All teachers meet the requirements of the Archdiocese to work with children, are fingerprinted and have a background check to make sure the safety of the children are met. The door of Mercy remains open to all.
A Youth Mass is scheduled for the first Sunday of the month, October through May. All youth are involved in the planning and conducting of this Mass. Please come and join in to see our Parish in action.
